The two Geopark mascots "Suevie" and "Riesie" lead the way and provide exciting information as well as easy-to-understand explanations, stories and quiz questions along the path around the former quarry. The two “guardians of the rocks” greet visitors at the start with a Play-and-Experience Station featuring an outdoor Memory game and site for hammering rocks (don’t forget safety glasses!).
But watch out: Tapping or hammering rocks is only allowed on the boulders placed here for that purpose. Climbing the quarry walls is not allowed due to safety and nature-protection reasons!
