Biking Paths
Versatile day-long and round-trip tours offer bicyclists diverse routes in the UNESCO Global Geopark Ries. An idyllic cultural landscape, charming towns and villages as well as imposing fortresses and castles can be easily explored by bike. Bicyclists enjoy the delightfully pleasant paths in the Ries basis and along the Danube—while more demanding bike trails to the ridges of the Swabian and Monheimer Alb promise special touring experiences. Regional bike trails can be combined in multiple ways into attractive circular tours to enable exciting, individual tours that always allow magnificent panoramic views.
You can see the routes of all the bike trails on the interactive map—and so choose a route that includes the attractions that interest you. Click on the route symbol to see trail length, description and altitude readings.
