Geological exposures, outcrops and quarries represent the majority of the special geological features of the UNESCO Global Geopark Ries. There are 150 of these educationally valuable natural creations in the UNESCO Global Geopark Ries, including five geotopes that are included in the “100 schönsten in Bavaria.”
